About the Position
This position plans, directs, and administers all Personnel functions for the District including professional development, labor relations and contract negotiation activities, demographic and enrollment research. Provide support to the Superintendent for increasing parental and community involvement by keeping stake holders informed using print, broadcast and electronic formats; and supporting the District’s community relations, community outreach programs, and business/school partnerships. The North Bend School District comprises an area of 188 square miles located in Coos County, Oregon. Approximately 2,300 students attend five schools providing educational services for children in grades kindergarten through twelve. There are two elementary schools, a middle school, a high school and an on-line school. The Oregon Virtual Academy operated by the District has an online enrollment of approximately 2,350 students. - Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Master’s degree, preferred.
- Qualified as Certified Professional Human Resources (PHR)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in recruitment hiring, negotiations and contract management, administrative rules, and other regulations pertaining to personnel matters
- Any combination of experience and training which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform the work
