Rep. Whisnant to Hold Three Town Halls

Rep. Gene Whisnant will hold “Meet & Greet” Town Halls to discuss Oregon’s first “even year” Annual Session with citizens in Redmond, Bend, and Three Rivers/Sunriver area. The town halls will give constituents an opportunity to ask questions and share their concerns ahead of the session.

Show Me My Money: Is the topic of the upcoming Annual Town Hall Meeting, which is called ATM for short. The focus of the meeting is how much of your property tax dollars go to City services and what services does it support. The ATM will be held on Saturday, January 28th. It will be at the Community Auditorium, 1915 Main Street in Forest Grove. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 9:00 a.m. See article for more details.

Barbara Roberts, former Oregon governor, will read from her new book, Up the Capitol Steps, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, in 236 Smith Union on the PSU Campus. The free, public event is sponsored by the Retirement Association of Portland State.
