Public Health Program Manager – Infectious Disease Control & Prevention
The Clackamas County Department of Health, Housing and Human Services (H3S) is one of the largest departments in Clackamas County, serving tens of thousands of people.
HS3 includes the following divisions: Behavioral Health, Children, Youth & Families, Community Solutions, Health Centers, Housing & Community Development, Social Services and Public Health.
Every day, the Clackamas County Public Health Division works to promote health, prevent disease, and advance public health practice.
The Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Program provides, in partnership with the healthcare community, disease monitoring, prevention, investigation, and control services to the residents of Clackamas County so they can be protected from the spread of infectious diseases of public health significance.
Clackamas County’s Public Health Division is seeking a team and process-oriented, visionary, and strategic leader to manage the Infectious Disease control and Prevention team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead, expand and innovate the county’s efforts in investigating, tracking, and preventing the spread of infectious diseases in our community.
The individual in this position will manage the deliverables and prioritize needs of Infectious Disease Programs including but not limited to HIV and STIs, TB and other notifiable conditions, and outbreak investigations.
This position will also lead and/or participate in Public Health’s after hours response team, identify and implement appropriate strategies for working with diverse populations, ensure programs comply with State, Federal and funder requirements and law, and prepare and review program policies and procedures.
