Long-time ELGL member Torie Brazitis is leaving Lone Tree, Colorado for Lakewood, Washington, where she will fill the assistant to the city manager position formerly held by ELGL member Adam Lincoln (who is now in Pullman, WA). Before Torie leaves for the Pacific Northwest, she wanted to pass along this great opportunity in the City of Lone Tree, Colorado.
We’re looking for an exceptional, entrepreneurial, analytical, and motivated graduate student of public administration, public policy, business, or related field who wants to learn and grow with a City that’s up and coming. We will give you the chance to use and further develop your strong analytical and communication skills through practice and exposure to professional situations that require and make the most of high performance.
The Management Assistant will have the opportunity to learn about the inner-workings of a municipal government, make a difference in day-to-day projects, and contribute to the organization at the executive leadership level. The Management Assistant will be involved in research, analytical work, and managing special projects.
This is a one year, full-time benefited* position that will gain experience in assisting management in the performance of specialized professional work, including conducting research; performing analyses; developing recommendations for senior staff; and providing professional assistance to
departments and service areas in the City. Applicants must have completed or substantially completed coursework toward a Master of Public Administration or closely related degree by June 2017.
