Swift County, Minnesota, seeks a resourceful manager and experienced collaborator to be its next County Administrator. The position directly supervises 15 employees, including all appointed department heads, and serves at the pleasure of the Board of Commissioners. Swift County has a 2016 operating budget of $21 million and employs 129.12 FTEs.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration and five years of progressively responsible management and administration experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires considerable knowledge of the organization and functions of County government and the general policies controlling their operations. Must have a working knowledge of government finance, human resources, labor relations, and policy facilitation and implementation and demonstrate the ability to effectively present information and engage the board, staff, other government agencies and the general public. Requires excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Salary range from $87,173 – $113,734 DOQ/E. Benefits available.
