The City of Concord, an organization committed to customer service, is looking for a professional to serve as Community Outreach Coordinator, responsible for the Partnerships for Stronger Neighborhoods Program and other public outreach efforts. The program has been housed in the City’s Planning and Neighborhood Development department since its inception 2000, but is transitioning to the City Manager’s Office to enhance two-way communications and problem solving with recognized neighborhood organizations. The position reports to the Public Affairs and Projects Manager and may also assist with external communications, news media relations, and providing service and information to citizens. Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work flexible schedules that may involve evening and weekend meetings.

This position will implement activities designed to strength young persons’ leadership, mobilization, and access to information and services. This position has a global reach, with primary focus on Asia and/or West Africa. The Youth Associate is supervised by the Senior Associate, Youth.
