Ask A Millennial at OMFOA Conference

If you are headed to the OMFOA Conference in Bend from March 4 – 7, check out the “Ask A Millennial” session on March 6 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Ask A Millennial

Moderator: Toby LaFrance

Panelists: Rhyan Van Horn (TriMet), Heidi Starks (West Slope Water District), Susan Luce (Multnomah County), Courtney Dausz (Mersereau Shannon LLP), Haley Fish (TKW), and Kent Wyatt (Tigard)

Millennial’s have grown up in a world of cell phones and Facebook. For this generation, microwaves are taken for granted, airports have always had security gates, there never was a Crystal Pepsi, and Bill and Ted have always been on an excellent adventure. In this session, a panel of young public finance professionals will discuss a variety of topics including what motivates them, what inspired their interest in public finance and what is their vision of the future of local government. Please bring your questions and learn from a Millennial.
