City Manager – Banks, OR. City population 1,775. Salary range $65,000 – $75,000 DOQ, plus benefits. Staff of 19, annual budget $5.2 million which includes one-time Capital Improvement Projects.
Seeking skilled professional to work collaboratively with Council, staff and citizens to provide effective and efficient delivery of municipal services. Requires a Bachelors degree in Public Administration or related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in municipal / public management. Any equivalent combination of experience (beyond that required for initial qualification) and education will be considered if the candidate is able to demonstrate that (s)he can satisfactorily perform the job functions. ICMA Credentialed Manager status is a plus. Candidate will have the ability to manage all of the activities of a public works department as well as large capital improvement projects. Candidate should be thoroughly familiar with planning, park, and police.
