The Civil Service Commission for Washington County works in partnership with the Human Resources Division to oversee and ensure employment applicants and employees are treated fairly in the areas of classification, testing and examination, appointment (hiring), and protection of employee rights. The Civil Service
Commission also participates in the affirmative action program as the advisory body.
The intern will be a non-voting participant with the Commission and will participate in the above mentioned areas when the meetings are held, as
well as, other related activities.
The Civil Service Commission meets quarterly with the next date scheduled for March 21, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This is an unpaid internship.
