$52,339 – $71,190 annually. Application deadline: February 2, 2012. This position directly supports two Metro councilors by serving as a professional resource performing complex administrative and analytical duties. General guidelines are the normal form of supervision, and specialized knowledge of the area of work and the agency in general are needed for assigned duties. High levels of discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality are required for most tasks. Supervision is received from the Council Policy Manager or assigned designee. The ideal candidate will have advanced communication skills and a strong understanding of the current political environment. Two positions are available.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of four years of progressively responsible and complex analytical and administrative support experience required. Graduate degree in public affairs, political science or another relevant field preferred. Requires a valid driver’s license.
