The City has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the area in addition to a high median household income. The City Manager has a well-rounded background that ideally includes a combination of municipal, public and private sector experience. With a strong financial and budgeting background, the preferred candidate also brings experience with economic development, urban renewal, bonds and levies. The City Manager is emotionally intelligent and provides open, consistent and transparent leadership and enjoys being visible, involved and committed to the community.
