Job Posting:Clackamas County – Business & Economic Development Coordinator

Clackamas County is seeking an experienced Business & Economic Development Professional. This position will report directly to the Manager of Business and Economic Development and will join a team of professionals focused on implementing the County’s business retention, growth, and recruitment strategy, coordinating economic development activities with other divisions and departments and providing highly complex analysis of economic development opportunities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years experience in planning, land-use or commercial real estate development. Two years experience in Business and Economic Development. Ability to develop and manage employment lands inventory. Experience managing projects constrained by budgets within timelines and deadlines. Demonstrated organization skills. The ability to cope effectively, positively and professionally across a wide range of situations and circumstances. Ability to analyze and evaluate complex economic development data. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
